The Abbey- druggings and sexual assault

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

We are seeking any and all police reports filed in regards to The Abbey Food and Bar as well as The Chapel at 692 N Robertson Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90069 in which patrons, staff or visitors reported:
-ingesting spiked or drugged drinks at the bar including but not limited to drinks with GHB, Ketamine, Rohypnol, or any other unknown mind/ body-altering drug without their consent dating back to 2011
-Any reports of sexual assault, rape or unwanted harassment at The Abbey dating back to 2011

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

On Monday, I will start preparing a story about how the LA County Sheriff has failed to respond to or even acknowledge this FOIA request which concerns a bar that now has hundreds of public complaints of druggings and sexual assault allegations against it.
