1. Any and all records, policies, directives, or other guiding material regarding LASD Modular/Reserve academies being decertified by post.
2. Any and all records, policies, directives or other guiding material regarding the reason(s) why the academies were decertified.
3. Any and all records, policies, directives or other guiding material regarding current LASD reserve deputies that attended these decertified post academies.
4. Who are they and when did they go back to a certified academy?
5. Copy of the POST Training Planner as of June 1, 2018 (or a date thereafter if the date indicated on the report is by default the date the report is run) for reserve peace officers employed by LASD. The report should be for the January 1, 2017-December 31, 2018 CPT Cycle.
6. Copy of the POST Training Planner for reserve peace officers employed by LASD for the 2015-2017 cycle.
7. Class Roster for LASD modular academies: 31, 32, 91, 93, 95, 128,129,130,131,132,133
8. Class Roster for LASD modular academies held in 1977-1985
9. Any and all records, policies, directives, or other guiding material regarding all Technical Reserve Deputies and they took their Level II upgrade class.
10. According to an email from LT. Christopher Blasnek of LASD Reserve Forces, sent in 2016, LASD Reserve Forces was directed by POST to conduct an audit to ensure the accusers of LASD's records. This audit identified 62 reserves having an inconsistent training record.
a) Any and all records, policies, directives, or other guiding material regarding the audit
b) Any and all records, policies, directives, or other guiding material regarding the names of the 62 reserves, their academy class, what level the record had them at, and what level they should be.
11. According to a LA Times article (attached) POST investigators found problems with records and timekeeping.
a) Any and all records, policies, directives, or other guiding material regarding this investigation.
b) Any and all records, policies, directives, or other guiding material regarding the 99 reserve deputies that were terminated or demoted. Please provide name and if they were demoted or terminated.
c) Any and all records, policies, directives, or other guiding material regarding the fabricated course material, and time and attendance records.
d) Any and all records, policies, directives, or other guiding material regarding the 99 reserve deputies that went back to an academy class and that class number.
e) Any and all correspondence (letters, emails or other transmittals) between LASD and POST with regard to the this audit including but not limited to who conducted audit, how audit was conducted, final results of audit, confirmations that audit was concluded and the final status of all reserve deputies as a result of the audit.

12. Any and all records, policies, directives, or other guiding material regarding who maintains POST records. Is it LASD or POST?
13. According to a 2019 lawsuit, FRIEDMAN V. COUNTY OF L.A. (attached) The LA Sheriffs department acknowledges it misplaced Mr. Friedman's completion of his Level 3 training requirements. LASD also acknowledges that Mr. Friedman took and completed all required course work and examinations. We are seeking any and all records, policies, directives, or other guiding material regarding Mr. Freedman's training.

14. According to a LA Times article (attached), Michael Gennaco, head of the county’s Office of Independent Review, stated that People who violated policy will be held accountable.
a) Please provide any and all records, policies, directives, or other guiding material regarding the people who violated policy, the policy they violated.
b) Please provide any and all records, policies, directives, or other guiding material regarding the accountability of those in violation.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
