Thompson should also be cross-referenced with the investigation into the death of Ruben Salazar, the American journalist and TV personality, born March 3, 1928, in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, died August 29, 1970, in Los Angeles; as well as the August 1970 arrest of the lawyer Oscar Zeta Acosta (born April 8, 1935, disappeared May 1974, Mazatlan Sinaloa, Mexico) for drug possession.
