Security costs for Mayor's Olympic travel

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

All records related to the security costs for Mayor Eric Garcetti for three trips outside of the city. Specifically Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in Aug 1-4, 2016; Lima, Peru in Sep 14-17, 2017; and Lausanne, Switzerland as well as Berlin, Germany in July 3-17, 2017. The records related would include but not be limited to: overtime slips, work schedules, and any MOU’s or contracts between the LAPD and the Mayor’s Office regarding those trips.

Please include include a week on either side of each trip for each search as well please meaning July 25 - Aug 11, 2016; Sep 7 - 21, 2017; and June 26 - July 21, 2017.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

If you find any of these requests insufficiently focused or effective, I request that you provide that assistance required by Government Code Section 6253.1

If you believe a portion of the information I have requested is exempt from disclosure by express provisions of the law, Government Code Section 6253(a) additionally requires, segregation and deletion of that material in order that the remainder of the information may be released.

I would prefer the request filled electronically via spreadsheet file such as .xls, .csv, .doc(x), or .pdf, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not. If the information is available in more than one format, I request that it be provided in the format first listed in the prior sentence. I am prepared to pay the actual cost of making the copies requested if you notify me of the amount in advance.
