Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
All correspondence between anyone employed in the Mayor's Office or Mayor Eric Garcetti(hereafter called the Mayor's Office) and anyone working or studying at Loyola Marymount University as well as their StudyLA center from January 1, 2017 until present.
This includes:
All e-mails between the Mayor's Office and any e-mail with the @lmu.edu domain
And additionally all e-mails, text messages, chat logs, etc with the keywords or to "StudyLA", "Fernando Guerra", "The Thomas and Dorothy Leavey Center for the Study of Los Angeles", "Brianne Gilbert", and "Mariya Vizireanu"
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
If you find any of these requests insufficiently focused or effective, I request that you provide that assistance required by Government Code Section 6253.1
If you believe a portion of the information I have requested is exempt from disclosure by express provisions of the law, Government Code Section 6253(a) additionally requires, segregation and deletion of that material in order that the remainder of the information may be released.
I would prefer the request filled electronically via spreadsheet file such as .xls, .csv, .doc(x), or .pdf, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not. If the information is available in more than one format, I request that it be provided in the format first listed in the prior sentence. I am prepared to pay the actual cost of making the copies requested if you notify me of the amount in advance.
