Communications between Herb Wesson's office and Ek & Sunkin

Pursuant to the California Public Records Act (California Government Code §§ 6250), I hereby request the following records:

1. All communications to and from Councilmember Herb Wesson and his staff between January 28, 2016 and the present related or referring to lobbying work performed by EK & Sunkin on behalf of Freeport-McMoRan Oil & Gas and BreitBurn Management Company.

2. All communications to and from the office of Councilmember Herb Wesson (including Wesson himself and each of his staff members) and representatives from EK & Sunkin between January 28, 2016 and the present related to or referring to lobbying work performed on behalf of Freeport-McMoRan Oil & Gas and BreitBurn Management Company.

3. All communications to and from the office of Councilmember Herb Wesson (including Wesson himself and each of his staff members) and representatives from Freeport-McMoRan Oil & Gas and BreitBurn Management Company between January 28, 2016 and the present.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Hi Vanessa, I think the confusion arose because your office responded to my request by providing documents to my colleague at the Public Accountability Initiative, Rob Galbraith. He had some issues with the request and will be following up (if he has not already).
