Dear LBPD,

Pursuant to the California Public Records Act I am requesting the following records:

-Any current facial recognition policies or procedures the LBPD has adopted since the department last produced a Facial Recognition Watch Report which limited the use of free trials of private facial recognition databases. The previous Watch Report was produced on October 7, 2020 in response to CPRA request P004875-081620.
This new CPRA request would include any Watch Reports, Bulletins, Special Orders, Regular Orders or any other documents used to convey departmental policy.

*I previously asked for these documents as part of a CPRA request on May 23, 2021 (P006653-052321) that also requested correspondence. Since correspondence takes longer to search, that may explain why my previous request has been delayed beyond the CPRA timeframe (although you have not set an expected date of completion as the law requires). This request can be considered a separate request just for policy documents, and the other request can be limited correspondence.

**Attached is the Watch Report from September 2020, which is that last document I was produced.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter in the time frame set out in the CPRA.
