RE: Public Records Request Reference Number: C011764-072521
In response to your request for public records received on July 25, 2021, the City of Long Beach does not have responsive records.
We do not have any responsive documents regarding bike share data retention policies.

The City has an agreement with Pedal Movement to operate the bike share program. Below is a summary of the data retention policies.
Trip GPS DataThe City licenses the bike share platform associated with its bike share program. The platform was developed by MobilityCloud (formerly Social Bicycles) and it stores all of the historical bike share trip data. The City does not store bike share trip data on its servers, and neither does the City’s operations and maintenance vendor.
Mobile AppThe user is linked to the platform and is included as part of the City’s licensing agreement with MobilityCloud. The information collected by the app for each of the user profiles is also stored within Mobility Cloud’s platform.

PRA Request #C011764-072521 is now closed.
