Pursuant to the California Public Records Act I am requesting the following records:

-Any emails, communications, or marketing materials received from representatives of the Citizen App.

The materials likely would have come from an “@citizen.com” email address or from the company “sp0n, Inc.” which originally launched the app as “Vigilante” before rebranding after being removed from the Apple app store for encouraging vigilantism (occasionally against innocent people).

The documents may also have come into your possession through other means such as conferences or the LBPD’s task forces with the LAPD who have been working with the company as shown by the leaked emails in the article below.
