To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

Approximately at 8:00pm on Sunday evening of May 02, 2021 I was parked in the office building parking lot next to the USPS parking lot, across from the Civic Center, playing Pokémon Go. I hear the strain of an engine being pushed to perform and look up. Low and behold I find the racing engine is of that which belongs to the city of Lewisville, making it’s way towards Main Street in Civic Circle with it’s left turn signal engaged. I waited a few seconds to remove my shock of anger when I realized he had nowhere to go since he was sitting at the red light. So I pulled up beside him, expressed my dismay to him. With a smirk on his face for duration of contact, he said he had somewhere to go. I asked him where, I’d he needed to be in that big of a hurry, he has lights and sirens. He stated yeah but, he didn’t know for sure where he was going. I again expressed my disapproval and said had it been me driving and speeding like that; I’d have gotten a ticket. At that time, the red light turned green and he was free from my badgering questions, and I felt I was completely disrespected and not taken seriously at all.
I would like any records of calls that unit 4113 would have been needing to go, and I would also like to see policy on citizen/office exchange in a non-emergency situation. I am filling this request in the parking lot of the police station at 8:37 pm now on Sunday evening. The same officer has just pulled up next to me and parked his vehicle beside mine and removed himself from the unit and into the building. I want to make this request accessible to the public based on the lack of respect for the citizen’s of the community in which this officer has sworn to protect.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter.

I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

Sincerely,

Megan Moore
