To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

I would like to have the Lewisville Police Department's logs showing the drivers and their vehicles used that day in patrol operations (broken out by first, second, third, and fourth watch if available), support operations (including traffic and parking), special services/operations, criminal investigation division, and administration for the following dates:

Thursday, January 28, 2021
Wednesday, January 27, 2021
Tuesday, January 26, 2021

Thursday, July 30, 2020
Tuesday, July 28, 2020
Wednesday, April 22, 2020
Thursday, April 9, 2020

Sunday, May 27, 2018

Please redact any information that would reveal an officer or program considered undercover.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request.

I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment. I noticed there is only a third watch given for 5/27/2018, is there not a third watch for the other dates I asked for? And is there not a first or second watch for 5/27/2018?

Do officers get in trouble if they are patrolling the wrong districts?

On July 28, 2020 at roughly 11:40 AM, I saw three Lewisville Police Department SUVs right after each other on Mill Street (north of Valley Ridge Blvd.), but I see only one was assigned to that district. Unfortunately, I couldn't see their car numbers on the back as two were driving towards me and the other one driving away from me was too far for me to see. Could it possibly have been sergeants or the captain that I saw driving or maybe several officers were needed to respond to an emergency in the area?

Were there any crimes reported or other calls to the police for that area, date, and time, perhaps at Lake Park?
