Greetings Mr. Miller,

Thank you for your public records request of March 23, 2022. So that we may respond to your public records request, we seek clarification of the parameters of the request, as follows.

First of all, is there a date range for the requested emails (such as, for example, January 1, 2021 - March 23, 2022)?

Secondly, we understand the public records request to be for emails, which contain the provided keywords, of each County Commissioner and his or her respective Commission Aide. If there are additional staff persons whose emails you are seeking, please let us know.

Finally, please note that Leon County is not the records custodian of records of the City Commissioners for the City of Tallahassee. The records custodian for the City of Tallahassee may be reached via this link<https://www.talgov.com/doingbusiness/treasurer-records.aspx>.

We appreciate your assistance in clarifying the parameters of your public records request.

Best regards,

Please note that under Florida's Public Records laws, most written communications to or from County staff or officials regarding County business are public records available to the public and media upon request. Your e-mail communications may therefore be subject to public disclosure.

From: Mike Miller

For the date range, January 1, 2020 would be a sufficient start date and should include all emails until the present (4/23/22).

I understand the City Commissioners will be under a separate entity.

I agree that the request includes commissioners and their aides, and would only add that it should also include any interns that work within commissioners' offices.
