Dear Ms. Dauphinais -

Thank you very much!

Could you please clarify whether the written warning that was issued to Anytime Fitness was for an individual or for the business itself? Also, was it a violation of Keene City Ordinance O-2020-09-A or the Governor's Emergency Order 63, both, or another rule/ordinance/law (if the latter, please specify which rule/ordinance/law)?

Additionally, I want to be sure I'm interpreting this information correctly. It looks like there has been one written warning issued (Anytime Fitness) and no fines assessed to date. Is this an accurate interpretation?

Thank you again for your time on this. I really appreciate it.

Best,
Melanie

Hello Melanie,

In reference to your follow up questions on the mask ordinance and Gov. Sununu's orders.

The written warning was issued to the owner of Anytime Fitness, so essentially the business, in violation of the Governor's order.

You are correct in that the only written warning was to Anytime Fitness, and no fines have been assessed. Education and self-compliance is our first method to handle reported possible violations.

If you need anything further please feel free to let me know.

Matt

Hi Lt. Isham,

Thank you very much for your response and my apologies - I had Keene on my mind when I wrote that email. I should have referred to the Lebanon Emergency Mask Ordinance!

Best,
Melanie
