The KCSO Public Disclosure Unit has completed our search for records responsive to your request.
We performed our searches based on the search terms provided - both electronically and directly with potential record holders in our Major Crimes section. Of the items listed, we recognize Geofeedia and Magnet Forensics. Geofeedia is a product we reviewed under a 30-day free trial in March 2014. However, the cost did not outweigh the benefits, so we did not pursue purchase of this program beyond the 30-day free trial. IES (Internet Evidence Finder) is a Magnet Forensic product that we utilize in active investigations with a Consent to Search or Search Warrant. The following are the records responsive to your request with regards to Magnet Forensics:
-
$550 Internet Evidence Finder Software (McSwain) 012215.pdf - 5 pages - Expense Report - Magnet Forensics.pdf - 9 pages - Cancel Requisition - Magnet Forensics.pdf - 10 pages
