Dear Mr. Teal:

This acknowledges that the Office of the King County Assessor has received your January 29, 2016 request for public records relating to rental car company vehicle property tax assessments and supporting documents.
Under Washington law, motor vehicles are not subject to property tax. See RCW 84.36.595(2). The King County Assessor therefore does not have any records responsive to your request.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have further questions.
