Hello Mr. Mocek,

I am responding to your request below on behalf of Seattle King County Public Health. We are in the process of searching for records using the terms you supplied. I estimate an installment of records or a status update will be available in approximately two weeks, or sooner if possible. Collecting records from the members of the Board of Health that are not King County employees may take longer, but I will keep you updated.

Please contact me if you have any questions.

Best Regards,

Penny Larsen|Senior Public Records Analyst|Office of Risk Management Services|206-263-1852|500 Fourth Avenue, Ste 622, Seattle, WA 98104|http://www.kingcounty.gov/operations/ExecutiveServices/PublicRecords.aspx

Hello Mr. Mocek,

Please note that I am collecting records created in the course of Board of Health (BOH) business. If board members have email records created in a capacity other than their BOH work, those records would not be responsive to this request. If you are seeking all emails between each board member and any or all members of Neighborhood Safety Alliance, Speak Out Seattle, and Safe Seattle, you would need to submit a request to each board member or their respective municipality separately.

Please let me know if you have any questions. We will continue collecting and reviewing records unless I hear differently from you.

Thank you, Penny

Hello Mr. Mocek,

We are interpreting your request to be for the records of the eleven voting members of the King County Board of Health. If you are seeking records for staff supporting the board, please let me know.

Thank you, Penny

From: Phil Mocek

Yes, I'm requesting messages addressed to and from board members, not those that involve staff but not board members. Thanks for verifying.

Cordially,
Phil Mocek

Hello Mr. Mocek,

I have not received records from any board members yet. Dr. Delecki has indicated that he completed his search and has no responsive members. In my email to you, I indicated that I estimated an installment of records or status update would be available today. I was hoping to get some records for you by now but I have sent a reminder to the board members and I will follow up with them this week. I will get back to you with a status update or an installment of records by October 4, or sooner if possible.

Thank you for your patience.

Best Regards,

An interim response, stating the request is being processed.

From: Disclosure, Public

Hello Mr. Mocek,

Attached is the only responsive record from Susan Honda, City of Federal Way. Angela Birney, Redmond City Council has no records. I understand that you have separate requests for the same records to the Seattle City and the King County councils Since you will be getting the records for those councilmembers who are also Board of Health members as part of the separate requests, I propose not duplicating efforts by gathering their records for this request. Please let me know if you are agreeable to my proposal. I will follow up with the remaining members of the BOH and estimate I can gather their records, if any, in approximately two weeks.

Thank you, Penny

From: Phil Mocek

Dear Ms. Larsen,

I received your e-mail of October 13. You are correct about similar requests to this one that I filed with Seattle City Council and with King County Council. I agree that your search for the same records from members of those organizations who sit on the Board of Public Health would be redundant. As you proposed, I will revise my request to those members of the board who are not also members of Seattle's or King County's councils.

Thanks!

Cordially,
Phil Mocek

Hello Mr. Mocek,

We are reaching out to all four BOH members who have not yet responded to this request. My guess is that the will not have responsive records, as was the case for all the other Suburban City and Health Professional members. I will contact you in two weeks with a status update or records, if available.

Thank you for your patience, Penny
