Pursuant to the California Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
I am requesting all available documents, including incident and coroner's reports, relating to the unidentified decedent Agency Case Number: C586-80 or NCIC Case Number: U763194382, Also known as the Kern County Jane Doe, who was discovered on or about July 15, in a field in an almond orchard in Delano, California. She may have been from Washington.
She may have gone by the name "Becky" or "Rebecca Ochoa" and could have been employed at an apple orchard. I am a researcher and writer who covers John and Jane Doe cases, and I have a strong track record of working with law enforcement in the Southeast to highlight cases--I can provide references upon request.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
