Typically, the open records act requires a public agency to respond within three business days of receiving an open records request. Since you submitted your request on August 7, a formal response would be due today.

However, pursuant to Senate Bill 150, the response time has been extended to ten days during the state of emergency. Therefore, a response to your open records request is due on August 17 under the law.

You will receive a response from this office before that date.
