Shawn Breen-

I have received your attached request.

A request for a record without reasonable limitation as to subject matter or length of time represented by the record does not constitute a sufficient request. Wis. Statute 19.35(1)(h). "FOIA logs for 2020" does not delineate what you are looking for.

In accordance with Section 19.35(4) of the Wisconsin Statutes, you are advised that if you consider any portion of this letter to constitute a denial of your request, the denial is subject to review by mandamus pursuant to the provisions of section 19.37(1) of the Wisconsin Statutes, or upon application to the Attorney General or the District Attorney's Office.

Hi, please limit this request to the date range of January 1, 2020 through the date this request is processed. It is still seeking the same document(s), any Freedom of Information Act logs maintained by the Kenosha Police Department.

Thank you,
Shawn Breen

From: Kenosha Police Department

Shawn,

I have received your revised request. The Kenosha Police Department has no responsive record to "Freedom of Information Act logs".

Is it possible that you have responsive logs, but that they aren’t named that way? I am basically seeking any log kept which tracks public records requests submitted to the Kenosha Police Department, for instance this one. Please advise.

Thanks very much,
Shawn Breen

From: Kenosha Police Department

Shawn Breen,

Yes, the City of Kenosha Police Department maintains records and yes, I keep track of requests.
