Each of your recent public records requests have lapsed into abandoned status. Based on WAC 44-14-07006, RCW 42.56.120(4) and KMC 1.40.090(5); we are requiring a copy deposit of $1.00 before we continue working on this request. This is 10% of our anticipated copy charge. However, the actual fees will likely be higher. Your payment may be made in person (cash, check, card), or by mail (check sent to my attention). The receipt will be provided to you once payment has been received and work will then proceed to prepare the records.
The Kennewick Police Department is located at 211 West Sixth Avenue, Kennewick, WA 99336 and our lobby is open Monday - Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Your request will remain open pending payment through December 14, 2019. Please plan ahead when deadlines fall on weekends or holidays; postmarks are not accepted. Without your payment by this date the request will be automatically closed as an abandoned request. Please keep in mind records are maintained in accordance with the state retention scheduled and may not be available for a future submission should you abandon this request.
