Pursuant to the Kansas Open Records Act (K.S.A. 45-215), I hereby request the following records:
All Stand Your Ground motions that have been filed by defendants in judicial district 29 since January 1, 2006.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

Our office does not have records of Stand Your Ground motions filed since January 1, 2006. You may try contacting the Clerk of the District Court of Wyandotte County Kansas. The Clerk of the District Court keeps a public access computer available on the first floor of the Wyandotte County courthouse. The Unified Government has an online records request service and you may try that as well (link below). The link is provided below. The County and local government is combined in this jurisdiction, therefore, you may want to go to the Unified Government link provided below so as to cover all basis.
If the motions exist, they would have been filed in the Criminal Clerk's office. The phone and fax for the Criminal Clerk are provided below:
