Mr. Spies:

You sent your request to me as FIO for DA and District Court ... but I am not. I am FIO for Sedgwick County Government. County occupies the same Courthouse building with DA and District Court, but the other two are distinct, different entities. District Attorney is an "independent officer of the judicial district." State District Court for the 18th Judicial District is part of the State Judicial Branch. County has nothing to do with "Stand Your Ground" motions and has no records responsive to your request.

I cannot relay your request. DA and DC18 must each receive and respond to their own records inquiries.

You should direct your request for District Attorney to Deputy District Attorney Ann Swegle as<> or call 316-660-3600.
