Pursuant to the Florida Sunshine Law, I hereby request the following records:

1) All arrest data submitted to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement as part of the 287(g) program. Section XI of the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office's memorandum of understanding with ICE for the 287(g) program states that:

"The JSO will provide statistical or aggregated arrest data to ICE, as requested by ICE. The JSO will also provide specific tracking data and/or any information, documents, or evidence related to the circumstances of a particular arrest upon request. ICE may use this data to compare and verify ICE’s own data, and to fulfill ICE’s statistical reporting requirements, or to assess the progress and success of the JSO's 287(g) program." I ask that all fees be waived as I am a journalist and intend to use the requested records to publish articles in the public interest and not for any commercial purpose.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
