To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the California Public Records Act (California Government Code §§ 6250), I hereby request the following records:
A copy of the bid submitted in response to Amazon's request for proposals for the site of its second headquarters, any contracts with third-party providers for services rendered regarding the Amazon HQ2 bid, and any marketing budgets regarding Amazon-related expenditures from September 1, 2017 to the date this request is received.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 calendar days, as the statute requires.

Thanks so much for getting back to me. I had a question about the contract that you included for services related to the bid. It looks like the increase in budget was active as of July, 2017. Did all of the $347,500 go to work on the Amazon bid?
Per the City Manager’s Office, only $25,000 of the contract, under purchase order 5S7278, was for Amazon work and the rest was for Orange County Great Park projects. The referenced purchase order is attached.
