Pursuant to the Iowa Open Records Law (Code Chapter 22), I hereby request the following records:
All policies and procedures regarding the distribution and/or acquisition of hygienic products for individuals incarcerated under this State's correctional system. If policies/distribution vary based on gender, security classification, location of detention, age, financial standing, or any other reason, please provide those policies as well or indicate appropriate request destinations.
This request is being made as part of a journalistic investigation. The requested documents will be made available to the general public. This request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that fees cannot be waived, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.
