Thank you for checking back with me. I am sorry that this is taking some time but I have to gather the info from other sources. Dear Lt. Collins,

Thank you so much for your response to my Public Records Act request for purchase and deployment records for certain equipment used by the Inglewood Police Department. I appreciate it.

There was a third point in my request, to which I don't see a response. It was this:
3. Records of deployment by your agency since January 1, 2020 of projectile launch platforms, such as 40mm projectile launchers, "bean bag" or specialty impact munition ("SIM") weapons, and "riot guns" used to disperse chemical agents; explosives and pyrotechnics, such as "flashbang" grenades and explosive breaching tools; and chemical weapons such as "teargas" and "pepper balls".

Can you let me know whether you conducted a search for such deployment records and, if so, the outcome of that search? Or, if you posted these and I missed it, please let me know.

Thanks so much.

Thank you again for your correspondence and I must advise you that I am replying to this email, all the while, that I am away from work due to health and safety protocols. I do not have a time frame for my return to work and I will not continue to monitor or respond to these emails until I return. I must also advise that I no longer serve in this role for our department and I am simply trying to finalize your request since I started it. With that said, and besides the time I will be out due to health and safety protocols, this request is going to take me some time to complete. Unfortunately, our staff does not document deployments and I will have to go through several reports to try to determine a number of deployments and with which less lethal weapons. Sorry for the inconvenience and we appreciate your patience.

Dear Lt. Collins,

I appreciate your message and send best wishes for your health and safety. We will continue to monitor and hope the Department is able to respond to this request. Knowing that deployments are not documented in a systematic way is useful as well.

Thanks and best,
John Lindsay-Poland
