Pursuant to the Indiana Access to Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

1. Current records, maintained by department armorers and/or Use of Force instructors, depicting the types and specifications of all less lethal weapons approved for use under their direction and control.

2. Current records, maintained by department armorers and/or Use of Force instructors, depicting the types and specifications of all projectiles, canisters and other ordinance used in the approved launchers and/or systems under their direction and control.

For reference, I refer to the exact documents which are mentioned in IMPD General Order 1.8, VIII.A & VIII.B, but for which I have not been able to locate any publicly accessible copy via indy.gov. Posting these publicly, or sending a link to a copy already published, would also be an acceptable response.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
