Pursuant to the Indiana Access to Public Records Act § 5-14-3-1 et seq., I am requesting an opportunity to inspect or obtain copies of public records that include the Unified Carrier Registration System compilation of UCR-1 and UCR-2 forms, for the period 2007- through November 2017 or the most recent month available. I understand the UCR Agreement is established by federal law in the UCR Act, which is part of the federal highway reauthorization bill known as “SAFETEA-LU”, Public Law 109-59, enacted August 10, 2005, but administered by Indiana's Department of Revenue.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment, FTP, Dropbox or similar service, if available, or CD-ROM if not. Please machine-readable versions of the UCR-1 and UCR-2 forms in some manner of delimited file, such as CSV.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 7 business days, as the statute requires.
