SANE hospitals (Department of Human Services)

This correspondence is in response to your request for public records pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), which the Illinois Department of Human Services received on October 18, 2017. Your request seeks the following:

* A list of every hospital, clinic, or other institution that provides sexual assault forensic exams administered by a certified Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE).

Please note, the State agency responsible for regulating health care facilities, including hospitals, is the Illinois Department of Public Health. As a result, the Illinois Department of Human Services does not have records responsive to your request. If you wish to submit a public records request to the Illinois Department of Public Health, please feel free to follow the instructions posted at http://www.dph.illinois.gov/foia.
