Pursuant to the Illinois Freedom of Information Act., I hereby request the following records:
Any and all written or electronic communications, including email attachments, between Deputy Governor Bria Scudder or her immedaite deputies and any representative, official, lobbyist, staffer or other agent of Second City Wind, Diamond Offshore Wind, or their parent company Mitsubishi. This request also seeks and communications between Deputy Governor Scudder and one or more of the following individuals: Chris Wissemann, David Deutsch, or any other executives or lobbyists for the aforementioned companies. This request specifically seeks records related to the proposed pilot wind farm in Lake Michigan outside of Chicago.
I am a reporter for The Nation, The Guardian and other news outlets. I seek status as a media requester.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.
