Pursuant to the Alabama Public Records, I hereby request the following records:

I'd like to request a copy of the current collective bargaining agreement (also known as a collective agreement or a union contract) between this department and the local police union/fraternal order/benevolent association (or similar/equivalent organization). This includes any and all memorandums of understanding or similar agreements. Please provide all associated addendums, amendments, appendices, exhibits, and other supplemental and supporting documents.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days.

My name is William Michael Marlow, a citizen of Alabama, and I am following up about a public records request that I initially filed on Sept. 14, 2021 under the Alabama Public Records Law.

The request was rejected on Sept. 30, 2021 when I attempted to file the request through the MuckRock platform, in coordination with Katie Ryan. I am in fact the requester of these documents and have attached my state identification as proof of my residency.
