Pursuant to the New Jersey Open Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
Please provide any and all audio and video recordings of Hudson County Board of Chosen Freeholders meetings since meetings have been held online (e.g. Zoom) during the State of Emergency declaration due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes any meeting held online and recorded from March 2020 to end of August 2020. Residents joining these Zoom calls through the Zoom application are shown a recording icon, so these meetings have been recorded by the county.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 7 business days, as the statute requires.

I received your records request on August 24, 2020. I checked with the technician that maintains the recording system and he advised that only the most recent meeting recordings are maintained. Because he is currently on vacation, he advised he will provide me copies of the video for the Board of Freeholders' August 11, 2020 Caucus Meeting and August 13, 2020 Regular Meeting when he returns to the office next week. When I receive them, I will send you copies. Please also note that verbatim written transcripts are maintained for all Board of Freeholders' Caucus and Regular meetings.
