Chief Art Acevedo released a statement today saying that Senator Ted Cruz's staff had contacted the dept. and asked for assistance "upon the senator's arrival at the airport." on Wednesday Feb. 17, 2021, and that "HPD officers monitored his movements through the terminal."

Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

Duty logs for personnel assigned to IAH on Wednesday February, 17, 2021 who assisted or monitored the movements of the Senator at the airport.

If it's easier to fulfill, I will happily accept duty logs for personnel assigned to IAH on Wednesday February, 17, 2021.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
