Pursuant to the New York State Freedom of Information Law (1977 N.Y. Laws ch. 933), I hereby request the following records:
All current policies maintained by the department regarding use of force.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

We have been holding the information you requested from back on August 2, 2016. Our records indicate you were advised the cost is $4.09 for us to mail 12 pages to you and this cost includes $1.09 for postage. Upon receiving $4.09 we will be happy to mail the information to you. If you were to pick it up in person, the cost for 12 pages at 25 cents per page would be $3.00.
