Re: Freedom of Information Act Request

Dear Mr. Meller:

Your Freedom of Information Act ("FOIA") request dated January 20, 2022, was forwarded to our office for review and response. You have requested contracts, agreements, invoices, and any supporting documentation related to the publication of county ordinances with American Legal Publishing (Greenville County).
As a public body under the South Carolina Freedom of Information Act, Greenville County may collect fees not to exceed the actual cost to research and digitize the requested records. The estimated costs associated with your request totals $93.00, 3.0 hours at $31.00 per hour research and copy time.

Section 30-4-30 (B) allows the County to require a twenty-five percent (25%) deposit to be submitted before we begin processing your request. Please make your check payable to Greenville County, in the amount of $23.25 and mail it to the Greenville County Attorney's Office at 301 University Ridge, Suite 2400, Greenville, SC 29601.

Upon completion of our response, the remainder of the payment will be due before the records are released to you.
