Pursuant to the New York Freedom of Information Law, I hereby request the following records:

All communications (text messages and emails) from 11/1/21 to 11/23/21 among Board of Education trustees (Rebecca Sassouni, Donna Peirez, Barbara Berkowitz, Jeffrey Shi, and Grant Toch) and superintendent Teresa Prendergast regarding Board of Education meeting 11/17/21, all emails sent by North High administration (Daniel Holtzman, Ronald Levine, and Kathlyne Snyder) advising teachers on how to respond to questions about the meeting and Dr. Honig's slideshow presentation, and all meeting notes taken by North High administration regarding the 11/17/21 Board of Education meeting.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.

This letter will formally acknowledge receipt of your November 23, 2021
Freedom of Information Law (“FOIL”) request, received by this Office on
November 24, 2021.

Please be advised that the District will respond to your request by either
granting or denying the request, in whole or in part, within twenty (20)
business days from the date of this acknowledgment letter. However, if
circumstances prevent the disclosure of the materials sought within twenty
(20) business days from the date of this acknowledgement letter, the
District will contact you in writing to provide a reason for the inability
to grant the request within such time period and a reasonable date certain
of when the request will be granted, in whole or in part.

Please be further advised that the District charges the statutorily
permitted fee of $0.25 per page for duplication of records requested under
FOIL, unless the same are available for electronic transmission.
