Pursuant to the Colorado Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:

I'm requesting all Grand County Sheriff's Office files on Marvin John Heemeyer who was born on October 28, 1951 and died on June 4, 2004, the same day he used a modified bulldozer to attack the town of Granby. I'm looking for police files on his conduct that day and any previous encounters with local law enforcement, as well as any notes he wrote about the attack that investigators obtained after the incident. Proof of his death and notes he left behind are attached with my request.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
