To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Arizona Public Records Law, I hereby request the following records:

A copy of all documents or files pertaining to Jason Todd Ready (aka JT Ready), whose DOB was 02/17/1973 and who killed himself after shooting to death four people in a home in Gilbert, Arizona on May 2, 2012.

If there are documents already available, I am requesting those to be made available to me as soon as possible. If there are others that have yet to be processed and released, I am requesting that those be made available on a rolling basis as they become available.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter.

I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days.

Sincerely,

Nick Martin

Mr. Martin-

The Gilbert Police Department is currently processing your information request. Like the Mesa Police Department, the Records Section has identified 17 police reports involving Mr. Ready. Several of these reports are lengthy and, as such, not deliverable as email attachments. However, I believe that all documents can be uploaded to one CD-ROM, available at a cost of $10.00.

Please let me know if this delivery option works for you.
Thanks,

Ron

Ron,

Thank you for getting back to me. A CD-ROM would work just fine. If you'd like to send me an invoice, I can have our accounting department send out payment to you this week.

I appreciate the help.
