Pursuant to the Georgia Open Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
1) Copies of any and all insurance policies the university, or university athletic department, took out in order to serve as the sponsoring institution to host NCAA sanctioned postseason events, including the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.
2) Copies of insurance policies the athletic department took out to insure lost athletic department revenues in case of athletic event cancelation
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

Good evening,
The Georgia Tech Athletic Association (GTAA) hereby responds to your Open Records Act request. Please see responses below:
1) Copies of any and all insurance policies the university, or university athletic department, took out in order to serve as the sponsoring institution to host NCAA sanctioned postseason events, including the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament. No additional insurance was purchased by GTAA. Hosted events were already included in GTAA's liability policies.
2) Copies of insurance policies the athletic department took out to insure lost athletic department revenues in case of athletic event cancelation. Revenue loss insurance for FB and MBB is secured by the conference.
As production of this request took less than 15 minutes, there are no charges associated with the request.
