Pursuant to the Georgia Open Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
a) Emails (or other communications) from the last 3 months between the University of Georgia and Spin. (Spin's email addresses are in the format "@spin.pm")
b) The final, signed contract and/or any other finalized or currently active agreements between the University of Georgia and Spin ("Skinny Labs dba Spin") regarding the electric bike share program.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.

I wanted to check on the status of my request, and to see if there was a new estimated completion date.

This is a follow-up response to your Open Records Act request for:
a) Emails (or other communications) from the last 3 months between the University of Georgia and Spin. (Spin's email addresses are in the format "@spin.pm")
b) The final, signed contract and/or any other finalized or currently active agreements between the University of Georgia and Spin ("Skinny Labs dba Spin") regarding the electric bike share program.
"On January 27, 2023, we stated that we had “reached out to units/departments across campus where responsive records may exist so that we can prepare search, retrieval, review, and production time/cost estimates.” We also wrote that we anticipated having an update for you by February 17, 2023, if not sooner.
With respect to request a) for, “Emails (or other communications) from the last 3 months between the University of Georgia and Spin,” please provide us with specific names/titles you wish us to search. (See O.C.G.A. § 50-18-71(g): “[r]equests to inspect or copy electronic messages, whether in the form of e-mail, text message, or other format, should contain information about the messages that is reasonably calculated to allow the recipient of the request to locate the messages sought, including, if known, the name, title, or office of the specific person or persons whose electronic messages are sought and, to the extent possible, the specific data bases to be searched for such messages.”)
In other words, whose UGA email accounts do you want us to search? And do you have specific search terms you would like for us to use other than “Spin” and “Spin.com”? Once you provide us with this information, we can better obtain time and cost estimates to search for and retrieve any potentially responsive material.
Regarding request b) for, “The final, signed contract and/or any other finalized or currently active agreements between the University of Georgia and Spin ("Skinny Labs dba Spin") regarding the electric bike share program,” a document exists, but we are checking it for any confidentiality clauses and for any legal exemptions. We will be back in touch once that review is completed.
Please let us know how you would like for us to proceed with regard to request a).
