From: Daniel Tait
To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the Georgia Open Records Act, I hereby request the following records:
All records between Georgia Public Interest Advocacy Staff and Georgia Power regarding any settlement on the 17th Vogtle Construction Monitoring (VCM) hearing (Docket: 29-849).
As used above, the term “records” includes, without limitation, all communications, correspondence, records of phone conversations, transcripts of testimony, minutes or notes of meetings, electronic mail, PowerPoint or other similar presentations, memoranda, reports, maps, photographs, drawings, data, tables, spreadsheets, formulas, notes, observations, impressions, contracts, and policies or directives, whether in an electronic or print medium, original or copy, or draft or final form.
Please note my request for any draft testimony.
The timeframe of this public records request is between November 1, 2017 and the date of this filing.
I am requesting a waiver of the fees because this information is in the public's interest.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 3 business days, as the statute requires.
Sincerely,
Daniel Tait

Thanks Philip!
I haven't yet received an estimate for cost to complete. Can you provide that for me so I can take a look to see if we wish to proceed?

Philip,
I noticed that my open records act request was referenced today by E&E News. Are these emails now available for release? It appears that E&E News was able to get a copy based on their reporting. The last I had heard is that they were undergoing legal review and you were going to get back to me on a potential cost.

Philip,
E&E News also links a few more emails. Is there more information that wasn't already disclosed by E&E?
Thanks,
Daniel
