Williamson County Texas - Driver List

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:

I would like to have a copy of:

1.) Your list of permanently assigned vehicles
2.) Your daily/temporarily assigned vehicles list for Saturday, May 22, 2021

These records should have at a minimum the identifying number used by your office (whatever you call the number that is in blue on the back of marked Williamson County Sheriff's Office patrol vehicles and to the right of the license plate), the name of the person it is assigned to and their badge number if applicable, type of vehicle (sedan, SUV, etc.), and the division the vehicle is assigned to. Even if it provides addition information, please send copies of your records as you keep them in your own files in their entirety other than necessary redactions like the ones I mention below.

Please react any private information like personal phone numbers and home addresses. Also, please redact any information that could reveal an officer's identity that is considered uncover.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
