Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act, I hereby request the following records:
Materials obtained or compiled as part of the case relating to Sterling Wayne Patrick who died July 23, 2018. An investigation was taking place and a newspaper story was being written in regard to his relationship with administration, management, and coordination of all aspects of the CDBG and HOME Investment Partnership Programs, CDBG Disaster Recovery Housing Program, CDBG Recovery Fund, HUD Homelessness Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program, HUD Lead Safe Environment Program, and Neighborhood Stabilization Program, grant programs and his postion with the City of Galveston as well as his position on the board of directors for the Credit Union. It is our understanding Mr Patrick was terminated from his position with the city for Embezzlement and an investigation was taking place.

The City of Galveston cannot provide any responsive information for this request because all statements and allegations are false. In addition, to clarify, Mr. Sterling Patrick was never terminated from the City of Galveston.
