To Freedom of Information Act Officer:
Pursuant to the Illinois Freedom of Information Act (5 ILCS 140/1 to 11), I hereby request the following records:
All communication and documents to/from Mayor John Pritchard, City Manager Todd Thompson, specifically regarding Ameren and energy efficiency between July 19, 2017 and September 19, 2017. Keywords used in the search of records are limited to: "Ameren", "energy efficiency", "17-0311", and "Illinois Commerce Commission".
I am requesting a waiver or a reduction of fees since the requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes, and the organization I work for, Energy and Policy Institute, can be classified as a representative of the news media. Additionally, I have accounts with Republic Report and Huffington Post that are used to disseminate information received from public record requests.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 5 business days, as the statute requires.
