Pursuant to the Kentucky Open Records Act, I hereby request to either receive copies of, or to inspect, the following records:
– Documents related to the appeal of the termination of the Medicaid certification for CAKY Somerset, created or modified from March 4, 2019, to August 22, 2019.
– Records of communications between CHFS and Brightspring/Rescare, written or electronic, related to the appeal of the termination of the Medicaid certification for CAKY Somerset, from March 4, 2019, to August 22, 2019.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Good morning Mr. Maples,
You should receive a response from the Office of Legal Services. All requests will go through them first. We will providing everything we have as part of the first request you submitted in regard to CAKY Somerset/Rescare/BrightSprings. I apologize it is taking me a while to get these to you. I am working on as quick as I can. There is just a lot of PHI that has to be redacted.
