Copies of any and all complaints of Use of Force submitted to the Department. Please limit the search to the date range 1/1/2015 - 2/28/2017.
The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter. I look forward to receiving your response to this request within 10 business days, as the statute requires.

Good afternoon. I am processing your request describing “Copies of any and all complaints of Use of Force submitted to the Department. Please limit the search to the date range 1/1/2015 - 2/28/2017.” I need to clarify some information or documents you are interested in. Are you looking for the actual complaints, the department's response to them or a spreadsheet of specific data? Right now with the time frame given, I am looking at 500+ citizen calls/walk-ins and letters of various complaints that the excessive force complains have to be searched from. Please call me at the number below or respond back to this message with what specific data or documents you are requesting.
Spreadsheets are usually sent for free or, depending on your clarified request of documents, I may need send you a cost estimate and work hours estimate due to the volume of processing this request. Please let me know your preference and I will get this processed and sent to you as soon as possible.
