This letter is to clarify what information that you are seeking from the City.

In order to provide you with correct and accurate records please be as specific as possible in regards to the documents that you are asking for. Your initial request is too broad in nature that can lead to costly estimate to provide possible unnecessary records. The request also indicated that you are seeking emails but does not specify the emails requested. Please narrow your requesting by requesting specific documents such as police reports, call sheets etc. and in regards to emails whose emails and time frame as searching the entire Department (over 2000 employees) would be extremely time consuming leading to a very high cost letter.

If you would like for the City to proceed with your public information request, please respond in writing to the City at the address below within sixty (61) days from 06/08/2017. Otherwise, the City will consider your request withdrawn.
