Fort Wayne Police Dept. Vehicle Seizures

To Whom It May Concern:

Pursuant to the Indiana Access to Public Records Act, I hereby request the following records:

All records or logs of vehicle seizures by the Fort Wayne Police Department beginning with the date August 17, 2013.

Additionally, I would like copies of all warrants issued to the Fort Wayne Police Department for the seizure of a vehicle in the same time frame as noted above.

Finally, I would like to request all incident reports involving a vehicle seizure in the same time frame as above.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes. As I am a member of the press and I believe there is substantial public interest in this information being made public due to the claims made by plaintiffs in the lawsuit MarQuayle Martin v City of Fort Wayne in the US District Court, Northern District Court of Indiana, Fort Wayne Division (1:15-cv-00384), I request that fees be waved pursuant to this request and that it be expedited if possible.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.
