Pursuant to the Florida Sunshine Law, I hereby request the following records:

I am requesting for monthly property crime statistics collected by the Fort Lauderdale police department from April 19, 2017, to April 19, 2019. The request would include statistics on burglary, larceny / theft and motor vehicle theft.

I am a reporter from CNET, a technology website and a subsidiary of CBS. I am based in New York, and can be contacted by email at alfred.ng@cbs.com or over the phone at 646-472-3908.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.

In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

So the crime stats requested are on FPLD website. It is currently being updated monthly and has Part one crimes which is the crimes that he is asking about.
