To Whom It May Concern:
Pursuant to the Florida Sunshine Law, I hereby request the following records:
-Expense reports related to the shooting that took place at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on February 14, 2018, including costs related to any victim lawsuits, building repairs, legal fees, medical expenses, trauma counseling, media consultants, accountants who handled charitable contributions, reconstruction, insurance policies, etc.
-Any active shooter/active assailant insurance policies
-Any student safety policies related to an active shooter/active assailant
Please provide materials on a rolling basis, as they become available. We request that the requested complaints please be made available to us as soon as possible.

The requested documents will be made available to the general public, and this request is not being made for commercial purposes.
In the event that there are fees, I would be grateful if you would inform me of the total charges in advance of fulfilling my request. I would prefer the request filled electronically, by e-mail attachment if available or CD-ROM if not.

Thank you for contacting the Risk Management's Public Records Office. Pursuant to the Public Records Act of the Sunshine Law, it provides the right of access to inspect or copy existing records which includes, but not limited to, all documents, papers, letters, maps, books, tapes, photographs, films, sound recordings, data processing software, or other material, regardless of the physical form, characteristics, or means of transmission, made or received pursuant to the law or ordinance or in connection with the transaction of official business by any agency." It does not mandate the agency to create new records in order to accommodate a request for information. If any exemptions should apply, you will be notified in writing of the citation that reflects your request.
